Melissa Simmonds is the Associate Director of the Organizational Advancement Department at Partners of the Americas. Prior to this, she served as the Graphic Design Officer. She is very committed to the organization’s mission, since one of her goals as a person and a professional is to put her knowledge, tools, and experience at the service of others.
Melissa has more than eight years of experience within the creative industry. She started her career in advertising agencies, obtaining experience in the design of diverse materials for advertising campaigns, editorial design, and printing, as well as creating content for social media.
Prior to joining Partners, Melissa participated in the event production and commercial furniture design sector, 360° brand design creation, and the retail industry, as a graphic designer and event planner. Melissa graduated in the field of graphic design from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia.
