In the Office of the Governor of Tolima in Colombia on July 27, 2020, a meeting was held between the Colombia Avanza Project Director and the Governor of Tolima, Ricardo Orozco Valero. At this meeting, the scope and advances of the project were presented to the governor. Both parties agreed to articulate actions between the government of Tolima and the project to continue supporting civil society organizations and coffee growers in this department to combat child and forced labor, and promote acceptable conditions of work.
