The Youth Ambassador Intern will assist the Director and Program Officers in the on-going planning and coordination for the YAs’ selection, travel, and follow-on projects. This includes assistance with outreach to local volunteers throughout the Americas, development of promotional materials, design of travel activities, and administrative and logistical support to all program activities.

The internship is available immediately. It requires a commitment of 15 to 25 hours a week. 

Requirements:

• Read, speak and write Spanish
• Excellent English writing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Current or recent student or graduate student in related field
• Highly motivated
• Must enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of and interest in the following areas: Latin America, youth, leadership, exchanges, community development, social networking
• Evaluation and monitoring knowledge and experience a plus
