Please choose from the links to the right to download the latest version of Resource Information and Opportunities Guide available for your chapter.
If you experience any problems downloading the files, please contact Matt Clausen (mclausen@partners.net) to receive the file by email.
This resource and opportunities guide presents a summary of many of the resources currently available to Partners chapters, partnerships, and volunteers through the Partners international office. The opportunities described in this guide serve to complement and strengthen the countless locally supported activities carried out every day by Partners volunteers as they work together to improve the lives of people across the Hemisphere. Some opportunities are available to all members of the Partners Network and others are region-specific, although all contribute to Partners' mission and vision.
How to use this guide:
- Refer to the summary table for basic information about opportunities, eligibility and dates.
- Read the information following the table for more details about each opportunity, including key staff contacts.
- Don't hesitate to ask questions! Partners resources should be as clear and accessible as possible. Comments are highly valued and are always welcome: membership@partners.net.
General guidelines:
- Travel grant and project assistance fund requests must meet both Partnership and individual program guidelines, priorities, and goals.
- These opportunities are for Partners members. Thus, chapters and partnerships must be rechartered and current with dues payments. Please check with membership services (membership@partners.net) if you have any questions, or if your chapter would like assistance with the rechartering process, which occurs once every three years.
Reminders:
-
Please visit Partners website regularly for additions, changes, further details, travel applications and project proposal forms: http://www.partners.net/. Try to stay current on event dates and opportunities in order to tie local activities to other Partners resources.
-
In order to avoid logistical problems, completed travel applications must be received at least 30 days prior to the desired travel date. Project assistance fund requests should be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event or activity that is planned.
-
Please check with the relevant program staff regarding fund availability, questions and assistance in accessing Partners resources. Bear in mind that resources are awarded on a competitive basis.
-
Partnerships are encouraged to actively seek assistance and support from local citizens, organizations and institutions with similar goals. Collaboration at the local level leverages new opportunities and ensures the continuation of partnership priorities.
