Our Logo

Our logo combines a symbol and the text, “Partners of the Americas .” The symbol is designed with two three-dimensional arrows, one pointing north and the other, south. A visual expression of partnership, the symbol represents the two-way exchange between people of the U.S. , Latin America and the Caribbean that is the hallmark of Partners. It emphasizes the inherent equality of a true partnership, one in which neither side shows dominance. At the same time, the Partners logo recognizes the individuality and independence of each partner.

The symbol was designed in 1970 by Malcolm Grear of Malcolm Grear Designers, Inc., Providence R.I. It was refined in 2004 by Gretchen East of studio e2, Alexandria , VA.
