- PARTNERSCampus is an innovative model for creating student-led, campus-based chapters of Partners of the Americas that will engage the next generation of youth leaders in valuable service and development projects and strengthen and expand the Partners volunteer network. This initiative will also serve to formalize and strengthen Partners’ relationships with institutions of higher learning across the hemisphere, where, in many cases, our traditional chapters have already benefited greatly from collegiate engagement.
- PARTNERSCampus is currently in a pilot stage with the first student chapter located at American University in Washington, DC. In its first six weeks, the chapter recruited over 50 members, raised over $1000, hosted 3 speakers and designed its first two service projects! http://www.wix.com/ubusc9/partnersau
- The PARTNERSCampus Guide to Founding a Chapter is a comprehensive resource that will walk you through the steps and provide the tools for founding a student chapter at your university or college. The forthcoming Guide to Managing a Chapter will provide instructions and tools to student officers on how a chapter should function to best engage all the members and create impactful projects. This will include sections on fundraising, projects design, officer roles and responsibilities, managing volunteers, budgeting, outreach and partnerships, project evaluation, recruiting and chapter structure.
