The A Ganar Alliance is a partnership between the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), The Nike Foundation, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Partners of the Americas and the private sector. In addition, the A Ganar Alliance generates a substantial local contribution, both in-kind and cash, through the private sector and other donors.

Major Donors:

The Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), A Ganar's initial donor, invested $3.6 million to start the program in Ecuador, Uruguay, and Brazil.

The Nike Foundation has contributed $1.85 million to develop the Vencedoras program in Brazil as part of its "Girl Effect" initiative, which invests in the empowerment of young girls to promote positive development..

USAID has contributed $1.4 million to expand the A Ganar Alliance to the Caribbean--St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica from October 2009 to October 2011.

Major Private Sector Funders:

Liberty Mutual contributed $30,000 to fund the A Ganar pilot in Colombia. Youth are currently being trained in Barranquilla and Puerto Tejada.

Microsoft has contributed over $100,000 to programs in Uruguay and Brazil.

OCP has invested over $100,000 in A Ganar Ecuador.

Governmental Sponsors:

The Organización Iberoamericana de Juventud (OIJ- Latin American Youth Organization) is an international multi-governmental organization created to promote dialogue, agreement and cooperation in youth matters among Latin American countries. A Ganar / Vencer has received an official endorsement of OIJ.
