Major Donors:
The Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), A Ganar's initial donor, invested $3.6 million to start the program in Ecuador, Uruguay, and Brazil.
The Nike Foundation has contributed $1.85 million to develop the Vencedoras program in Brazil as part of its "Girl Effect" initiative, which invests in the empowerment of young girls to promote positive development..
USAID has contributed $1.4 million to expand the A Ganar Alliance to the Caribbean--St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica from October 2009 to October 2011.
Major Private Sector Funders:
Liberty Mutual contributed $30,000 to fund the A Ganar pilot in Colombia. Youth are currently being trained in Barranquilla and Puerto Tejada.
Microsoft has contributed over $100,000 to programs in Uruguay and Brazil.
OCP has invested over $100,000 in A Ganar Ecuador.
