What We Do / ECPA Senior Fellows

Partners of the Americas is pleased to support the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas (ECPA) initiative through administering the Senior ECPA Fellows Program. This program will send pre-selected U.S. technical experts from the academic, non-profit or private sectors to serve as consultants and speakers to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, sharing best practices and expertise in clean energy, sustainable urban development, climate change adaption and reducing emissions from deforestation.

Partners proposes a program through which ECPA Fellows will: i) facilitate the transfer of knowledge between the US and Latin America in innovative solutions and technologies related to the areas of clean energy, sustainable urban development, climate change adaptation, and reducing emissions from deforestation; ii) build a network of technical experts working on energy and climate change in the US and Latin America that are better able to connect to and cooperate with each other; and iii) bring together diverse actors from governments, civil society, and the private sector to identify energy and climate change issues in the region and work together toward solutions.

The Senior ECPA Fellows represent a diverse set of experts in the areas of energy and climate change. To see the full roster of Fellows and their biographies, please click here.

The Senior ECPA Fellows Program is funded by the US Department of State and fellowships are coordinated in collaboration with US Embassies throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
