	Partners Volunteers honored at White House During this year’s National Volunteer Week, Partners was honored by having two volunteers represented at the White House. Teresa Bowick-Smith and Dewey Brown were recognized by President Bush on April 29^th for their volunteer work and exemplary service. 	Sign on to The Youth Declaration Dozens of youth at Partners' Convention in Ouro Preto, Brazil came together to discuss their ideas about youth participation in the Americas. The Declaration they developed shares their conclusions and invites adults and other youth to join them in action. 	Partners Education and Culture Program 2008 Wonderful News! The Program now has funds available for travel exchange grants and small project assistance grants. Applications are accepted during the year from eligible Partners chapters, those having paid their 2008 dues and completed the rechartering process. These grants have proven to be an excellent way of strengthening understanding, relations and communications between chapters in a Partnership.
